Pioneer Automotive Automatic Transmission Detent Cable

The Pioneer Automotive Automatic Transmission Detent Cable (also called a transmission kickdown cable, throttle valve cable or TV cable) links the throttle to the automatic transmission. It helps the transmission select the right shift points and line pressure for the driver's throttle input.

Key Features:

• Replacement detent cable for automatic transmission applications
• Helps keep shifts smooth and timed to throttle position
• Built as an aftermarket replacement for a worn, stretched or sticking original cable
• Designed for a straightforward installation using the original routing and mounting points

A worn or misadjusted detent cable can cause late or harsh shifts, slipping, or no kickdown. Replacing it restores proper throttle-to-transmission response. Pioneer Automotive supplies aftermarket replacement parts for a wide range of applications. Select the correct variant for your application from the options on this page.
