Pioneer Automotive CA2063 Automatic Transmission Detent Cable

The Pioneer Automotive CA2063 is a direct-fit replacement automatic transmission detent cable, also known as a kickdown cable. Detent cables connect the throttle mechanism to the automatic transmission, signaling the transmission to downshift when the throttle is pressed, ensuring proper shift timing and performance.

Over time, detent cables can bind, stretch, fray, or become sluggish, causing erratic shift behavior or transmission damage. The Pioneer CA2063 restores proper transmission operation with an OE-quality replacement built to last.

Key Features:

• OE-specification design — engineered to fit and function like the original factory cable
• High tensile-strength steel inner cable — provides durability and smooth, consistent operation
• Protective polymer outer housing — shields the inner cable from corrosion, debris, and abrasion for long service life
• Complete hardware included — cable ends, brackets, and grommet included where applicable for a proper, complete repair
• Direct-fit replacement — no modifications required for a straightforward installation

Pioneer Automotive Industries has been a trusted supplier to the automotive repair and remanufacturing markets for over 75 years, offering an extensive line of control cables, transmission parts, clutch components, and drivetrain hardware.
