Pioneer Automotive CA2059 Automatic Transmission Detent Cable

The Pioneer Automotive CA2059 is a direct-fit replacement automatic transmission detent cable, also commonly referred to as a kick-down cable. Detent cables link the throttle mechanism to the automatic transmission, signaling the transmission to downshift for maximum acceleration when the throttle is fully depressed. A worn, binding, or broken cable can result in sluggish downshifts, poor acceleration response, or incorrect shift timing.

Key Features:

• Manufactured to OE specifications for a proper fit and restored transmission operation
• High tensile strength steel inner cable for long-lasting durability
• Protective polymer outer housing shields the cable from debris, moisture, and abrasion
• Designed to fit and function like the original factory cable
• May include cable ends, brackets, and grommets where applicable for a complete repair

Pioneer Automotive Industries has been a trusted supplier of powertrain components since 1946, producing cables and related drivetrain parts that meet or exceed original equipment standards. The CA2059 is a reliable, cost-effective solution for restoring proper automatic transmission kick-down function.
