Product Details

The Pioneer Automotive CA-2046 is a direct-fit replacement automatic transmission detent cable, also commonly referred to as a kickdown cable or throttle valve (TV) cable. This cable links the throttle mechanism to the automatic transmission, signaling the transmission to downshift when the accelerator is depressed, ensuring responsive power delivery and proper shift timing.

Key Features:

  • OE-specification construction for a precise, factory-correct fit and function
  • High tensile strength steel inner cable for long-lasting durability under repeated use
  • Protective polymer outer housing shields the cable from debris, corrosion, and abrasion for smooth, reliable operation
  • May include cable ends, brackets, and grommets where applicable for a complete repair

Pioneer Automotive Industries has been a trusted supplier to the automotive repair and remanufacturing markets since 1946, offering quality replacement cables that restore proper transmission operation. The CA-2046 is engineered to replace a worn, binding, or broken detent cable and return your automatic transmission to accurate, factory-correct shift behavior.

Very competitive prices and fast FREE shipping! Will do business with Autoplicity again!

Autoplicity has great prices and quality products for sale, I'd give it 1/2 star less for slow shipping given the option. Took a while to get out their door, regardless, I would still purchase again, thanks Autoplicity!
