Pioneer Automotive CA-2033 Automatic Transmission Detent Cable

The Pioneer Automotive CA-2033 is a direct-fit replacement automatic transmission detent cable, also known as a kickdown cable or TV (throttle valve) cable. The detent cable connects the throttle linkage to the automatic transmission, signaling the transmission to downshift under heavy acceleration and controlling shift points for proper transmission operation. A worn, binding, or broken detent cable can cause harsh shifts, delayed downshifts, or transmission damage — making timely replacement essential.

Key Features:

• Manufactured to OE specifications to restore proper transmission operation
• High tensile strength steel inner cable for long-lasting durability
• Protective polymer outer housing shields the cable from debris and abrasion for smooth, consistent operation
• Designed to fit and function like the original factory part
• May include cable ends, brackets, and grommet where applicable for a complete repair

Pioneer Automotive Industries has been a trusted name in powertrain components since 1946, offering an extensive line of cables engineered to meet the demands of professional technicians and DIY enthusiasts alike. The CA-2033 detent cable is a reliable, cost-effective solution for restoring correct automatic transmission shift performance.
