About ATD Tools, Inc.

ATD Tools, Inc. has been a cornerstone of the professional automotive tool industry since its founding in 1977. Headquartered in Wentzville, Missouri, ATD has spent nearly five decades building a reputation for delivering high-quality tools and shop equipment at prices that make professional-grade performance accessible to both seasoned mechanics and dedicated DIY enthusiasts.

What sets ATD apart from the competition is a commitment to rigorous quality control at every stage of the supply chain. ATD's tools and equipment are tested at the manufacturer, by independent laboratories, and in real-world field conditions to ensure they meet the exacting performance and durability standards that working professionals demand. This multi-stage quality assurance approach is why ATD products have earned the trust of shops across the United States and Canada alike.

ATD's catalog spans well over 1,000 products across dozens of categories — from hand tools and air tools to lifting equipment and shop supplies. Their socket sets are among the brand's most recognized offerings, with both SAE and metric options built from premium alloy steels and engineered for high-torque applications. Whether you're working under a hood or deep in a transmission, ATD has a socket solution sized and rated for the job.

For technicians who handle chassis and suspension work regularly, ATD's grease pumps deliver the reliable, high-pressure lubrication flow that heavy-duty greasing tasks demand — including air-operated models that keep the job moving quickly. Keeping the workspace organized is equally important, and ATD's tool carts bring rugged, functional storage solutions to any bay or garage. Their carts are built to survive the day-to-day punishment of a working shop.

On the body-work and finishing side, ATD's parts paint stands support a clean, professional paint and body workflow — part of ATD's broader Paint & Body product line that includes HVLP spray guns and specialty lighting. And when fluid changes are on the schedule, ATD's drain pans offer the capacity and durability needed to handle high-volume oil and fluid service without mess or hassle.

ATD products are distributed through more than 45 warehouse member locations across North America, ensuring broad availability for shop owners and tool buyers wherever they operate. With sub-brands including SABER Lighting and Platinum Tech, ATD continues to expand its footprint across the professional tool market — always with the same foundational goal: quality tools at a fair price.
