Standard Motor Products TS453 Engine Cooling Fan Switch

The Standard Motor Products TS453 is a direct-fit replacement engine cooling fan switch engineered to restore proper cooling fan operation. This temperature-activated switch monitors coolant temperature and signals the fan controller to engage the electric cooling fan at the correct threshold, helping prevent overheating and maintain optimal engine operating temperature.

Key Features:

• Factory-calibrated actuation: Every unit is tested and calibrated to confirm electrical contact at the specified temperature set point
• Wax pellet activation: Custom wax formulations expand when heated to activate a snap-action electrical contact, transferring the signal to the fan controller
• Bimetallic contact arm design: Utilizes the differential expansion rates of two fused metals for creep-action, precise switching performance
• OE-equivalent specifications: Engineered to meet or exceed original equipment fit, form, and function
• High-grade materials: Robust construction built to withstand the demands of professional-grade service environments
• Sold as a single replacement unit
