Standard Motor Products TS231 Engine Cooling Fan Switch

The Standard Motor Products TS231 is a direct-fit replacement engine cooling fan switch engineered to restore proper electric cooling fan operation. This thermostatic switch monitors coolant temperature and signals the fan controller to activate the radiator fan at the correct temperature threshold, helping prevent engine overheating.

Key Features:

• Bimetallic contact design — uses a precision-formed bimetallic arm that responds to the different expansion rates of two fused metals, enabling reliable creep-action switching
• Factory-calibrated actuation — each unit is calibrated and tested at the factory to confirm electrical contact is made at the specified temperature set point
• OE-matched specifications — engineered to meet or exceed original equipment fit, form, and function requirements
• High-grade materials — robust construction built to withstand the thermal and electrical demands of modern cooling systems
• Direct plug-in replacement — designed for straightforward installation with no modification required

Standard Motor Products is a global manufacturer of original equipment ignition and temperature management components, maintaining complete quality control from raw materials through finished product. The TS231 cooling fan switch is a dependable, professionally-grade solution for restoring correct electric fan operation and protecting your engine from heat damage.
