Standard Motor Products TS177 Engine Cooling Fan Switch

The Standard Motor Products TS177 is a direct-fit replacement engine cooling fan switch, also known as a coolant fan switch or radiator fan switch. Engineered to OE specifications, this temperature-activated switch monitors coolant temperature and signals the electric cooling fan to engage or disengage, helping maintain optimal engine operating temperature and prevent overheating.

Key Features:

• Built to OE specifications for proper fit, form, and function
• Uses a precision wax pellet design that expands when heated to activate a snap-action electrical contact, triggering the fan relay or controller at the correct coolant temperature
• Bimetallic contact arm construction provides creep-action response for accurate, consistent switching performance
• All units are calibrated and tested to confirm switch actuation at their specified temperature setpoint
• 2-terminal connector configuration for straightforward installation
• Threaded body installs directly into the engine block or cylinder head coolant passage
• Sold individually

Standard Motor Products is a trusted OEM-level supplier with decades of experience manufacturing temperature switches and sensors.
