Product Details

The Standard Motor Products TS287 is a direct-fit replacement engine cooling fan switch (also known as a radiator fan switch or coolant temperature switch) designed to restore proper electric cooling fan operation. This thermostatic switch monitors coolant temperature and signals the engine cooling fan to engage or disengage at the correct temperature threshold, preventing overheating and protecting the engine.

Key Features:

  • 2-terminal design for straightforward, plug-and-play installation
  • Built to OEM specifications for proper fit, form, and function
  • Manufactured with high-grade materials engineered to meet the demands of professional service and long-term durability
  • Calibrated and tested to confirm switch actuation at the specified coolant temperature
  • Features a bimetallic contact mechanism — two fused metals with different expansion rates activate the snap-action electrical contact to reliably signal the fan controller
  • Made in Italy; UPC: 091769183110

OEM Cross-References:

  • Beck/Arnley: 2011366
  • ACDelco: 15-50377, 89057839, 1550377
  • Echlin: FS170
  • BWD: TFS538
  • Kem: RF76
  • Chrysler/Jeep/Renault/AMC: 7700268560, T0268560, T0777684, J6001590

The Standard Motor Products TS287 coolant fan switch is a trusted aftermarket replacement that delivers the reliable temperature-triggered switching performance your cooling system depends on.

Easy transaction

The order was easy and shipment was fast. They had what i was looking for at a great price.

They have the best prices and fast shipping too.

Autoplicity was plenty cheaper than competitors for the springs I needed. I was shopping around and left the website after beginning a transaction and they sent me a coupon for 25% off shipping if I would return and purchase from them, which was cool. Unfortunately the coupon code didn't change the price and I didn't receive 25% off, but it was still cheaper than others.

Great product! Don't even think about another battery hold down - this one is strong, light and has the good looks to boot. Saved over $30 on it too.

No hassle ordering and fast quality shipping at a reasonable price.

The service Autoplicity provides is top notch!! Shipping is fast, customer service is very helpful and the products are great!! Most of all, you cannot beat the prices. I would recomment Autoplicity to anyone looking to save a little money on those must have auto parts!!!

The sales/service team were very helpful and they had the cheapest price for an air filter that I could find. I will definitely shop here again!
