Standard Motor Products TS260 Engine Cooling Fan Switch

The Standard Motor Products TS260 is a direct-fit replacement engine cooling fan switch (also known as a coolant fan temperature switch or A/C compressor temperature switch) engineered to restore proper electric fan operation. This thermal switch monitors coolant temperature and signals the fan controller to engage or disengage the engine cooling fan at the correct temperature threshold, helping prevent overheating and protecting engine components.

Key Features:

• Stock replacement design — matches OEM fit, form, and function for a straightforward installation with no modifications required
• Bimetallic contact arm construction — leverages the differential expansion rates of two fused metals to deliver precise, repeatable switch actuation at the specified temperature set point
• Factory-calibrated actuation — every unit is tested at the manufacturer to confirm electrical contact is made at the correct lower-temperature set point
• Custom wax pellet technology — wax formulation expands when heated to activate a snap-action electrical contact and transfer the signal to the fan controller reliably
• High-grade materials — robust construction meets the demands of professional-grade service and long-term reliability
• Made in Italy — manufactured under Standard Motor Products' global quality control standards
• Sold individually — one switch per package
