Product Details

The Standard Motor Products TS183 is a direct-fit replacement coolant fan switch engineered to restore proper electric cooling fan operation. This temperature-actuated switch monitors engine coolant temperature and signals the fan controller to activate the cooling fan at the appropriate threshold, helping protect the engine from overheating.

Key Features:

  • OE-grade construction built to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for reliable fit, form, and function
  • Bimetallic contact arm design — leverages the differential expansion rates of two fused metals to deliver precise, repeatable switching action
  • Factory-calibrated actuation — every unit is tested to confirm switch activation at its specified temperature set point before leaving the factory
  • Snap-action electrical contact — activates cleanly and transfers the electrical signal to the fan controller without hesitation
  • High-grade materials — engineered to withstand the demanding thermal and chemical environment of the engine cooling system
  • Sold individually — stock thermal switch style, no relay or wiring harness included

The Standard Motor Products TS183 coolant fan switch is a purpose-built OEM-replacement part backed by Standard Motor Products' quality control standards. It is an ideal solution for restoring cooling fan function when the original switch has failed or is out of calibration.

Good price over the product manufacturers web site, but item went up $18 since I found on this site last week. After receiving the Nfab nerf bars, I was disappointed in the overall fit and finish of a $300+ product.... Installation took very long because

The order was easy and shipment was fast. They had what i was looking for at a great price.

They have the best prices and fast shipping too.

Autoplicity was plenty cheaper than competitors for the springs I needed. I was shopping around and left the website after beginning a transaction and they sent me a coupon for 25% off shipping if I would return and purchase from them, which was cool. Unfortunately the coupon code didn't change the price and I didn't receive 25% off, but it was still cheaper than others.

Great product! Don't even think about another battery hold down - this one is strong, light and has the good looks to boot. Saved over $30 on it too.

No hassle ordering and fast quality shipping at a reasonable price.

The service Autoplicity provides is top notch!! Shipping is fast, customer service is very helpful and the products are great!! Most of all, you cannot beat the prices. I would recomment Autoplicity to anyone looking to save a little money on those must have auto parts!!!

The sales/service team were very helpful and they had the cheapest price for an air filter that I could find. I will definitely shop here again!
