Dayco Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly

The Dayco Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly keeps the correct tension on your serpentine or V-ribbed accessory drive belt. Correct tension helps the alternator, power steering pump, water pump and A/C compressor turn reliably. Dayco is a long-established name in belt drive systems. Its tensioners are also called belt tensioners, serpentine belt tensioners or drive belt tensioner assemblies.

Key Features:

• Complete assembly design with a spring-loaded tensioner arm and pulley, so installation is straightforward
• Applies consistent belt tension across the operating range, which helps reduce belt slip, squeal and premature wear
• Dampens belt vibration and movement to help protect the belt and the driven accessories
• Built with durable materials and a precision bearing for long service life
• Engineered to meet or exceed OE performance expectations for fit and function

A worn tensioner can cause belt noise, belt flutter, uneven belt wear or accessory drive failure. Replacing it with a quality Dayco tensioner helps restore smooth, quiet and dependable belt operation. Dayco recommends inspecting the belt and idler pulleys and replacing them with the tensioner when needed. Select the specific part number for your application from the options listed.
