Dayco 89669 Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly

The Dayco 89669 is an automatic accessory drive belt tensioner assembly engineered to maintain constant tension on serpentine belt drives throughout the life of your belt. Featuring Dayco's patented flat spring technology, this tensioner automatically compensates for belt stretch and wear while providing less operating range variation than conventional designs.

Key Features:

• Patented flat spring design maintains constant belt tension and reduces operating range variation
• Heavy-duty cast aluminum spring case and arm resists cracking, fatigue, and distortion
• PTFE string wound within the spring resists abrasion and dampens noise for quieter operation
• Reduces risk of premature accessory bearing failure from excessive tension
• Minimizes belt noise, slippage, and poor performance caused by low tension
• Steel locator pins and arm plates for enhanced durability
• Rust-resistant coated spring and zinc-coated mounting bolts
• Built to outperform and outlast OE parts

This direct-fit tensioner assembly meets or exceeds OEM specifications and is designed for long-lasting performance in automotive and light truck applications. The durable construction and precision engineering ensure reliable operation under the toughest conditions.
