Dayco 89705 Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly

The Dayco 89705 is a premium accessory drive belt tensioner assembly engineered to maintain optimal belt tension in serpentine belt drive systems. This complete tensioner assembly is designed to protect other components within the accessory drive system and help prevent premature bearing failure.

Key Features:

• Patented flat spring design provides consistent tension with less operating range variation
• Heavy-duty cast aluminum spring case and arm resist cracking and fatigue
• PTFE string wound within the spring dampens noise and resists abrasion
• Rust-resistant coating on flat spring for extended service life
• Steel pivot tube on specific designs enhances stability
• Thermoplastic rubber spring slot plugs and O-ring seals keep contaminants out
• Zinc-coated mounting bolts resist corrosion
• Lubricated bearing system for smooth operation

Dayco tensioners are engineered to reduce the risk of belt noise, slippage, and poor performance caused by incorrect tension. The advanced design ensures quieter operation and promotes longer service life for both the tensioner and the drive belt system, making it an excellent choice for maintaining your vehicle's accessory drive system.
