GPD Throttle Position Sensor TPS

The GPD Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is a replacement throttle position sensor from Global Parts Distributors. It monitors how far the throttle valve is open and reports that information to the engine control unit (ECU). The ECU uses this signal to help manage fuel delivery, ignition timing, and transmission behavior. A worn or failing TPS can cause rough idle, hesitation, stalling, or poor fuel economy. Replacing it helps restore smooth, responsive engine performance.
