GPD 1811979 Throttle Position Sensor TPS

The GPD 1811979 is a direct-fit replacement Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) engineered to restore proper engine management and throttle response. Manufactured by Global Parts Distributors (GPD), this sensor is designed to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for a precise, reliable fit.

The throttle position sensor monitors the angle of the throttle plate within the intake manifold and continuously relays that data to the engine control unit (ECU). This real-time feedback allows the ECU to accurately regulate fuel injection and ignition timing for optimal combustion efficiency, smooth acceleration, and reduced emissions.

Key Features:

• Direct OEM replacement — engineered to match original fit, form, and function
• Monitors throttle valve position and transmits voltage signals to the ECU
• Helps restore proper fuel trim, idle quality, and throttle response
• Addresses common diagnostic trouble codes including P0120, P0121, P0122, and P0123
• Manufactured by GPD (Global Parts Distributors), a trusted supplier of OE-quality automotive components

A failing throttle position sensor can cause rough idle, hesitation during acceleration, poor fuel economy, and may trigger a check engine light. Replacing the TPS with the GPD 1811979 is a straightforward repair that helps bring the engine management system back to factory performance standards.
