GPD 1812093 Throttle Position Sensor TPS - 2.0L 4-Cylinder

The GPD 1812093 is a direct-fit replacement Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) engineered for 2.0L 4-cylinder applications. This sensor plays a critical role in your vehicle's fuel management system by monitoring the angle of the throttle plate and transmitting a corresponding voltage signal to the Engine Control Unit (ECU), enabling precise regulation of the air-fuel mixture for optimal combustion.

When the accelerator pedal is depressed, the throttle valve opens and the TPS measures that change in real time. The ECU uses this data to adjust fuel injection and ignition timing, directly influencing smooth acceleration, fuel efficiency, and emissions output. A worn or failed TPS can cause rough idling, poor throttle response, hesitation, and check engine light codes.
