Donaldson P124837 Air Filter Safety Element

The Donaldson P124837 is a high-quality safety air filter designed to provide critical backup protection for heavy equipment air intake systems. This safety filter serves dual functions: acting as a backup to the primary filter and protecting the engine during primary filter servicing.

Key Features:

• 4.57 inch outer diameter for precise fitment
• Serves as a backup filter in case of primary filter damage or improper installation
• Prevents contaminants from entering the clean side of the air intake system during primary filter servicing
• Designed to plug rapidly if contamination finds its way past the primary filter, alerting operators about an issue
• Compatible with multiple equipment brands including John Deere, Komatsu, Hitachi, and International

Maintenance Recommendation:

Donaldson recommends that safety filters are replaced with every third primary filter change unless there has been a failure of the primary filter. This ensures optimal engine protection and air intake system performance.
