Donaldson Filtration P117781 Air Filter Safety Element

The Donaldson P117781 is a safety air filter element designed to protect engines and equipment during primary filter servicing and act as a critical backup filtration system. Safety filters have two functions: to act as a backup to the primary filter and to protect the engine during primary filter servicing. With an outer diameter of 11.86 inches, this filter provides reliable protection for heavy-duty applications.

Key Features:

• Serve as a backup filter in case of primary filter damage or improper installation
• Prevent contaminants from entering the clean side of the air intake system during primary filter servicing
• Designed to plug rapidly if contamination finds its way past the primary filter, alerting operators about an issue
• Genuine Donaldson quality construction for reliable performance
• Compatible with Donaldson SRG air cleaner systems and various heavy equipment applications

Recommend that safety filters are replaced with every third primary filter change unless there has been a failure of the primary filter. This secondary filtration element is essential for maintaining clean air intake and protecting valuable engines from contamination damage.
