Blox Racing BXIM-00109 Thermal Shield Intake Manifold Gasket

The Blox Racing thermal shield intake manifold gasket creates a thermal barrier between your cylinder head and intake manifold to reduce heat transfer and maintain cooler intake air temperatures. This phenolic-composite gasket insulates the intake manifold from engine heat, helping to reduce intake air temperatures by up to 30 degrees Fahrenheit compared to standard metal gaskets.

Key Features:

• Thermal barrier design reduces heat soak from cylinder head to intake manifold
• Phenolic composite construction provides superior insulation properties
• Helps maintain lower intake air temperatures for denser air charge
• Can support 3-9% power gains through cooler, denser intake charge
• Direct replacement for OEM intake manifold gasket
• Designed for D16A1 and ZC Honda engine applications

Application Notes: This gasket is specifically designed for D16A1 and ZC Honda motors. 2006+ Civic Si owners with K20Z3 engines should order the K24 version instead. Always verify fitment for your specific application before purchase.

By keeping intake air temperatures lower, this thermal shield gasket helps maximize volumetric efficiency and power output. The insulating properties prevent heat from the engine block from transferring into the intake manifold, maintaining the benefits of your cold air intake system all the way to the combustion chamber.
