Blox Racing BXIM-00105 Thermal Shield Intake Manifold Gasket

The Blox Racing thermal shield intake manifold gasket is engineered to reduce heat transfer from the cylinder head to the intake manifold, keeping intake air temperatures significantly cooler for improved engine performance. This insulating gasket creates a thermal barrier that can lower intake temperatures by up to 30 degrees Fahrenheit, resulting in denser air charge and potential power gains of 3-9%.

Key Features:

• Advanced thermal barrier technology reduces heat soak from cylinder head
• Lowers intake air temperatures up to 30°F for denser air charge
• Delivers 3-9% horsepower increase through cooler, oxygen-rich intake air
• Precision-engineered fit for H22A Honda Prelude engines
• Direct replacement for OEM gasket with enhanced thermal properties
• Durable construction withstands high temperatures and engine vibration

Application Note: This gasket is designed specifically for H22A Honda Prelude engines. 2006+ Civic Si (K20Z3) owners should use the K24 gasket variant instead. Always verify fitment for your specific vehicle application before purchase.

By maintaining cooler intake manifold temperatures, this thermal shield gasket helps optimize combustion efficiency and protects against power loss due to heat-induced air expansion. An essential upgrade for naturally aspirated Honda builds seeking measurable performance improvements.
