Blox Racing BXIM-00101 Thermal Shield Intake Manifold Gasket

The Blox Racing BXIM-00101 thermal shield intake manifold gasket is designed to reduce heat transfer from the cylinder head to the intake manifold, helping maintain cooler intake air temperatures for improved engine performance. This thermal barrier gasket features a multi-layer construction that insulates the intake manifold from engine heat, potentially reducing intake air temperatures by up to 30 degrees Fahrenheit.

Key Features:

• Multi-layer thermal barrier construction reduces heat soak
• Maintains cooler intake air temperatures for denser air charge
• Can reduce intake temps by up to 30°F compared to stock gaskets
• May provide 3-9% power increase by maintaining optimal air density
• Direct replacement for OEM intake manifold gasket
• Designed specifically for B18A and B18B Honda and Acura engines

Application Notes:

• Fits B18A and B18B series engines (Non-VTEC B-series motors)
• Common applications include 1990-1993 Acura Integra RS/LS/GS models
• Verify engine code before ordering to ensure proper fitment
• Note: 2006+ Civic Si (K20Z3) owners should order the K24 version instead

By creating an effective thermal barrier between hot engine components and the intake manifold, this gasket helps prevent heat transfer that can reduce air density and rob your engine of power. Cooler, denser intake air means better combustion efficiency and improved performance across the RPM range.
