Blox Racing BXIM-00106 Thermal Shield Intake Manifold Gasket

The Blox Racing BXIM-00106 thermal shield intake manifold gasket is engineered to significantly reduce intake air temperatures by creating a thermal barrier between your cylinder head and intake manifold. This insulating gasket helps prevent heat transfer from the engine block, keeping incoming air charge cooler for improved performance.

Key Performance Benefits:

• Reduces intake manifold temperatures by up to 30 degrees Fahrenheit
• Delivers 3-9% increase in horsepower by maintaining denser, cooler air charge
• Constructed from high-temperature thermal barrier material
• Direct bolt-on replacement for OEM gasket
• Designed specifically for Honda K20 engines in Acura RSX and Honda EP3 Civic Si models

Application Note: 2006+ Honda Civic Si owners with K20Z3 engines should order the K24 gasket version for proper fitment. This gasket is available for most Honda K-series applications. Always verify your specific engine code and application before ordering to ensure compatibility.

By maintaining lower intake temperatures, this thermal gasket helps preserve power gains from other performance modifications and prevents heat soak during aggressive driving conditions.
