Blox Racing BXIM-00102 Thermal Shield Intake Manifold Gasket

The Blox Racing thermal shield intake manifold gasket is engineered to reduce heat transfer from the cylinder head to the intake manifold, keeping intake air temperatures significantly cooler for improved performance. This innovative gasket uses a specialized thermal barrier material that insulates the intake manifold from engine heat, resulting in up to 30 degrees lower intake air temperatures and a measurable 3-9% increase in horsepower.

Key Features:

• Thermal barrier construction reduces heat soak from cylinder head to intake manifold
• Lowers intake air temperatures by up to 30 degrees Fahrenheit
• Delivers 3-9% horsepower gains through cooler, denser intake charge
• Direct replacement for OEM intake manifold gasket
• Precision-cut for perfect fitment on Honda B-series engines
• Designed for B16A, B16B, and B18C5 Type-R Honda motors

Application Notes:

• Compatible with most Honda B-series applications
• 2006+ Civic Si (K20Z3) owners should order the K24 version instead
• Verify engine code compatibility before ordering

By maintaining lower intake manifold temperatures, this thermal gasket helps preserve the density of the incoming air charge, maximizing volumetric efficiency and power output. The heat-resistant material withstands the extreme temperatures of high-performance applications while maintaining a reliable seal.
