Gates PCV Valve

The Gates PCV Valve (positive crankcase ventilation valve, also called a crankcase vent valve) is a key part of your engine's emission control system. It regulates the flow of blow-by gases from the crankcase back into the intake so they can be burned in combustion instead of being released into the atmosphere.

Key Features:

• Meters crankcase vapors into the intake system to support proper engine ventilation
• Helps reduce crankcase pressure and limit oil contamination and sludge buildup
• Supports emission control performance and efficient engine operation
• Built as a replacement part to restore proper PCV system function
• Backed by Gates' experience in engineered engine components

A worn or clogged PCV valve can contribute to rough idle, oil leaks, increased oil consumption, and poor fuel economy. Replacing it at the recommended service interval helps keep the crankcase ventilation system working properly and helps protect long-term engine health.
