Gates EMH963 Engine Crankcase Vent Valve PCV System

The Gates EMH963 Engine Crankcase Vent Valve is a precision-engineered emission control component designed to regulate crankcase pressure and manage blow-by gases in your vehicle's positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) system. This direct-fit replacement valve helps maintain proper engine performance while reducing harmful emissions.

Key Features:

• Direct OE-exact replacement for easy installation and proper fit
• 5mm (0.2 inch) inside diameter designed for specific engine applications
• High-quality construction resistant to oil and heat exposure
• Helps prevent oil vapor leaks and excessive crankcase pressure buildup
• Restores emission ventilation system to optimal performance levels
• Manufactured by Gates, a trusted name in automotive components for over 100 years

This crankcase vent valve works by controlling the flow of blow-by gases from the crankcase back into the intake manifold, where they are re-burned during combustion. This process reduces hydrocarbon emissions, prevents pressure buildup that can damage seals and gaskets, and helps extend engine life by maintaining proper crankcase ventilation. Regular replacement of this component is essential for maintaining fuel efficiency, reducing emissions, and preventing costly engine damage.
