TBC Arctic Claw Winter WXI Studdable Winter Tire

The TBC Arctic Claw Winter WXI is a studdable winter tire (also called a snow tire or studdable snow tire). It is built for traction on snow, ice, and slush. It is the successor to the Arctic Claw Winter TXI and XSI. The line is made for passenger cars, crossovers, SUVs, and light trucks that need dependable cold-weather grip.

Key Features:

• Studdable construction: The tread is pinned so studs can be added for extra bite on ice and packed snow. The tire also works without studs.
• Winter tread compound: The compound is designed to stay pliable in freezing temperatures, which helps grip and handling in the cold.
• Asymmetric tread design: Large tread elements and wide shoulder blocks keep steady road contact. They also support cornering and steering response.
• High-density siping: Zigzag sipes add many biting edges for better braking and traction on snow and ice.
• Optimized groove layout: Angled lateral grooves help move water and slush out from under the tire, which helps reduce hydroplaning risk.
• Severe snow rated: The Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) symbol shows the tire meets severe snow service requirements.

The Arctic Claw Winter WXI gives drivers confident winter handling and braking, with the option to add studs for the harshest ice conditions. Each size and load rating is sold under its own part number.
