TBC ARC79 Arctic Claw Winter WXI Studdable Winter Tire 245/70R17 110T

The TBC Arctic Claw Winter WXI is a studdable winter tire that meets severe snow service requirements and carries the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol, making it ideal for drivers of SUVs, light trucks, and crossovers who face harsh winter conditions.

Key Features:

• Wide tread grooves and multiple sipes provide better traction in snow and slush
• Designed to accept optional metal studs for additional grip in freezing rain, sleet, and wet ice
• Asymmetric tread pattern with large tread elements guarantees secure traction in severe winter conditions
• High-density zigzag siping creates friction to shorten braking distance on ice and snow-covered surfaces
• Special silica compound absorbs the shock of driving, reducing vibrations
• Reinforced steel belt construction maintains ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure

The Arctic Claw Winter WXI is the successor to the Arctic Claw Winter TXI and XSI, delivering improved winter performance for drivers who need reliable traction in winter's worst conditions. Large closed shoulder tread blocks prevent airwaves from entering the tire's footprint, reducing road noise for a quieter, more comfortable driving experience.
