Wells 6P1468 PCV Valve Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve

The Wells 6P1468 is a direct-fit Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve engineered to restore proper crankcase ventilation in compatible engines. Wells Vehicle Electronics is a trusted OE-quality supplier of emissions and engine management components.

What It Does:

A PCV valve is a one-way valve that routes blow-by gases produced in the engine's crankcase back into the intake manifold and combustion chamber, where they are burned off. This reduces harmful emissions, prevents sludge buildup, and maintains proper crankcase pressure. The PCV valve is typically located on or near the valve cover or intake manifold.

Key Features:

• Designed to meet or exceed OE specifications for fit, form, and function
• Engineered for long service life and consistent performance
• Helps prevent engine sludge, oil leaks, and excessive crankcase pressure
• Restores proper idle quality and fuel economy when a faulty valve is replaced
• Direct OE-style replacement for easy installation

Signs of a Failing PCV Valve:

• Rough or unstable idle
• Decreased fuel economy
• Check engine light illuminated
• Oil leaks or oil consumption

The PCV valve is a routine maintenance item. Replacing it at the manufacturer's recommended service interval helps protect the engine from wear, sludge formation, and condensation damage. The Wells 6P1468 delivers a reliable, OE-quality solution for restoring crankcase ventilation system performance.
