Wells 6P1156 PCV Valve Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve

The Wells 6P1156 is a direct-fit Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve engineered to restore proper crankcase pressure regulation in compatible gasoline engines. Wells Vehicle Electronics is a trusted manufacturer of engine management and emissions components, and this PCV valve is built to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for a reliable, drop-in replacement.

The PCV valve plays a critical role in your engine's emissions and lubrication systems. It routes blow-by gases from the crankcase back into the intake manifold to be burned during combustion, reducing harmful emissions and preventing the buildup of pressure and sludge inside the engine. A worn or stuck PCV valve can cause rough idle, increased oil consumption, and premature engine wear.

Key Features:

• Direct OEM replacement — designed to match original equipment fit and function
• Precision-calibrated valve for accurate crankcase pressure control
• Durable construction to withstand heat, pressure, and oil exposure
• Helps reduce harmful emissions and prevent crankcase sludge buildup
• Easy, tool-free installation in most applications
• Manufactured by Wells, a trusted name in engine management and emissions components

Replacing a faulty PCV valve with the Wells 6P1156 is a simple, cost-effective maintenance step that can improve idle quality, protect engine internals, and help your vehicle pass emissions inspections. Always refer to your vehicle's service manual for the recommended PCV valve replacement interval.
