Wells 6P1247 PCV Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve

The Wells 6P1247 is a direct-fit Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve designed to restore proper crankcase pressure regulation in compatible gasoline engines. Wells Vehicle Electronics is a trusted OEM-quality supplier of engine management and emissions components, and this PCV valve is manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment specifications.

The PCV valve plays a critical role in your engine's emissions and lubrication systems. It routes harmful blow-by gases from the crankcase back into the intake manifold to be re-burned, preventing pressure buildup, oil contamination, and excessive emissions. A faulty or clogged PCV valve can cause rough idle, increased oil consumption, and failed emissions tests.

Key Features:

• Direct OEM replacement — no modifications required
• Manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
• Helps maintain proper crankcase pressure and engine efficiency
• Reduces harmful emissions by returning blow-by gases to the combustion cycle
• Prevents oil sludge buildup caused by moisture and combustion gases
• Durable construction for long service life

The Wells 6P1247 PCV valve is a straightforward, cost-effective maintenance part that helps keep your engine running cleanly and efficiently. Regular PCV valve replacement is recommended as part of routine engine maintenance.
