Johnson Controls V46AS-1 2" Pressure Actuated Water Regulating Valve 70-170 PSI Direct Acting

The Johnson Controls V46AS-1 is a 2-inch pressure-actuated water regulating valve designed for refrigeration and HVAC applications. This direct-acting valve opens on pressure increase and is specifically engineered to regulate the flow of water or glycol to water-cooled condensers in refrigeration systems.

Key Features:

• 2-inch ASME flanged connection for secure installation
• Operating pressure range: 70-170 PSI
• Direct acting operation (opens on pressure increase)
• Suitable for use with non-corrosive refrigerants including R-12, R-22, R-134a, R-502, R-404A, and R-507
• No close-fitting or sliding parts in water passages for reliable performance
• Corrosion-resistant materials for extended valve life
• Can be disassembled and reassembled without detaching from the system
• Suitable for both open and closed cooling systems

The V46AS-1 provides smooth pressure modulation with free movement of all parts, minimizing chatter and water hammer. The valve's refrigerant adjustment is not affected by water pressure, ensuring consistent performance. Manual flushing capability allows for easy maintenance without affecting valve adjustment.
