Johnson Controls V46AD-1 Pressure-Actuated Water Regulating Valve 1 Inch NPT 70-260 PSI

The Johnson Controls V46AD-1 is a direct-acting, pressure-actuated water regulating valve designed for commercial refrigeration and HVAC applications. This modulating valve is suitable for use on both closed and open systems, primarily used to regulate water or glycol flow to water-cooled condensers in refrigeration systems.

Key Features:

• Direct-Acting Operation: Valve opens on pressure increase for precise refrigerant head pressure control
• 1-inch NPT Connection: Female pipe thread connections for easy installation
• Adjustable Pressure Range: 70-260 PSI opening point adjustment range
• Durable Bronze Construction: Corrosion-resistant materials for long service life in water applications
• Maximum Water Pressure: Rated for 150 PSIG water service
• Diaphragm-Operated Actuator: Reliable modulating control with no close-fitting or sliding parts in water passages
• Wide Refrigerant Compatibility: Suitable for R12, R22, R134A, R502, R404A, R507 and other standard non-corrosive refrigerants

This valve features a robust design that can be disassembled and reassembled without detaching from the refrigeration system or pumping down, making maintenance more convenient. Ideal for water-cooled condenser applications in commercial refrigeration systems, ice machines, and industrial cooling equipment.
