Johnson Controls V46AD-13 Pressure-Actuated Water Regulating Valve 1" 70-260 PSI

The Johnson Controls V46AD-13 is a direct-acting, pressure-actuated water regulating valve designed for controlling refrigerant head pressure in water-cooled condensers and low-flow condenser applications. This commercial-grade valve features a 1-inch NPT threaded connection with a 70 to 260 PSI opening point range, providing precise modulating control for refrigeration and HVAC systems.

Key Features:

• 1-inch NPT female pipe thread connections for standard installation
• Style 5 pressure element with 1/4-inch male flare fitting for direct pressure feedback
• Direct-acting operation opens on pressure increase for responsive control
• Cast iron construction with corrosion-resistant materials in water passages
• No close-fitting or sliding parts in water passages for robust performance
• Serviceable without complete removal from system
• Suitable for use with standard non-corrosive refrigerants
• Compatible with closed or open system configurations

This valve is primarily used in commercial HVAC systems, refrigerated equipment, chiller packages, and process cooling applications where precise water flow control is essential for maintaining optimal condenser performance and system efficiency.
