Gates 24863 Modular Coolant Hose

The Gates 24863 Modular Coolant Hose is an engineered hose assembly designed for specific automotive cooling system applications. As part of Gates' industry-leading modular coolant hose lineup, this component is manufactured to meet OEM specifications and includes integrated components such as hose branches, quick-connectors, sensors, or restrictors as required for the application.

Key Features:

• EPDM tube construction with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement and heat-resistant EPDM cover
• Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD), the leading cause of coolant hose failure
• Temperature range: -40°F to +275°F (-40°C to +135°C)
• Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 specifications
• Heat and ozone resistant cover for extended durability
• Materials engineered to resist vacuum collapse
• Pre-shaped to ensure proper fit and sealed connections

Gates modular coolant hoses are precision-manufactured to replace OEM cooling system components, providing reliable performance for heater circuits and other coolant applications. The advanced EPDM compound formulation provides superior resistance to coolants, heat, and the electrochemical degradation that can cause premature hose failure.
