Gates 51356 Modular Coolant Hose Assembly

The Gates 51356 is a precision-engineered modular coolant hose assembly designed for specific vehicle applications requiring integrated OE components. This advanced radiator hose features factory-molded construction that includes essential components such as hose branches, quick-connectors, sensors, or restrictors integrated directly into the assembly, eliminating the need for separate fittings and ensuring proper coolant system operation.

Key Features:

• EPDM tube construction with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement for superior durability
• Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD), the leading cause of coolant hose failure
• Heat- and ozone-resistant EPDM cover withstands harsh engine compartment environments
• Re-engineered materials resist vacuum collapse without internal springs
• Temperature range: -40°F to +275°F (-40°C to +135°C)
• Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 for hoses under 1" ID and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 for 1" ID and over
• Pre-formed to OEM specifications for precise fit and leak-free installation

Gates modular radiator hoses deliver OE-quality performance with integrated components that match original equipment specifications. The advanced EPDM compound resists chemical coolants and prevents the electrochemical degradation that causes micro-cracks and eventual hose failure. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal sealing performance.

Note: Not intended for fuel or oil transfer applications. Coolant system use only.
