Product Details

The Gates 24661 Premium Modular Coolant Hose is an OEM-quality upper radiator hose engineered for reliable engine cooling system performance. This molded coolant hose features integrated quick-connect fittings and modular components for precise, application-specific fitment.

Key Features:

  • EPDM rubber tube with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement for superior durability
  • Heat-, ozone-, and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover
  • Integrated OEM-exact components including 2 female quick connectors and outlet
  • Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation—the leading cause of coolant hose failure
  • Specifically-designed materials resist collapse under vacuum conditions
  • 22-inch centerline length with 1.46-inch end diameter
  • Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 specifications
  • Temperature range: -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C)

Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal seal integrity. This modular hose design ensures proper fit with integrated quick-connect fittings, eliminating the need for separate connectors. Not suitable for fuel or oil transfer applications.
