The Gates 24023 is a premium modular coolant hose manufactured to fit specific applications with OEM-exact specifications. This factory-molded hose features an EPDM tube with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement and a heat-, ozone-, and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover.

Key Features:

  • Centerline length of 14-7/8 inches with end diameters of 1-7/16 inch and 1-9/16 inch
  • Temperature range of -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C)
  • Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of hose failure
  • Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 under 25mm ID and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 for 25mm ID and over
  • Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum
  • Suitable for coolant, water, and air applications; approved for marine use

This molded coolant hose is constructed from EPDM rubber and plastic materials. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal performance and leak-free operation.
