Product Details

The Gates 24237 Premium Modular Coolant Hose is an advanced upper radiator hose assembly engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications. This modular coolant hose features integrated components that make it far more sophisticated than standard molded hoses, providing a complete cooling system solution in a single assembly.

Advanced Modular Design:

  • Modular hose assembly with integrated OEM-exact components including quick connectors, branch connectors, and sensors
  • Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of coolant hose failure
  • EPDM tube construction with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement for maximum durability
  • Heat-, ozone-, and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover provides long-lasting protection
  • Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum conditions

Technical Specifications:

  • Temperature Range: -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C)
  • Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 standards
  • OE Part Number: 17127535742
  • Cross Reference Numbers: 22819M, 73162, CHR0486, R19244, E73162, 16914, F10249

Gates modular coolant hoses are manufactured identical or equivalent to OE specifications, ensuring proper coolant flow, preventing leaks, and maintaining optimal engine operating temperature. The flexible design facilitates straightforward installation with a precise fit. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal performance.

Note: Do not use for fuel or oil transfer applications. Designed specifically for engine cooling system applications.

I ordered from Autoplicity because they had the lowest price for an exhaust i was looking for. I was kind of iffy at first but then i read all the great reviews. Very fast shipping and delivery! I will be coming back for my next auto needs. Thank you autoplicity for your great prices and customer service!

Your competitive pricing won my business through the internet and I wasn't disappointed. The price was great ( about 1/2 MSRP) and item was shipped very quickly. No backorder problems here! I was impressed with the quality of my H pipe and with the packaging.

Excellent prices. Reasonable shipping. Website is a little tweaky but if that keeps prices low who cares!
