Product Details

The Mikuni 4/042-490 is a large hex main jet designed for precise fuel metering in Mikuni carburetors. This genuine Mikuni replacement jet features the larger hexagonal head design that is standard across most Mikuni carburetor models, making installation and removal straightforward with common tools.

Key Features:

  • Large hex head design for easy installation and removal
  • Precision-machined brass construction for accurate fuel metering
  • Compatible with most Mikuni carburetor applications
  • Mikuni part number series 4/042
  • Direct OEM replacement jet

Main jets are critical components that control the fuel flow at wide-open throttle and high RPM operation. Using the correct jet size ensures optimal engine performance, fuel economy, and prevents running too rich or lean. This jet is commonly used in Mikuni carburetors found on motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and other powersports applications.

Execellent retailer. Easy to buy from online. Got product quickly at a great price. I highly recommend!

Please remove from listing the items that are discontinued. I had to order to find out the manufacturer has discontinued the item over 1 year ago. Had my truck in the shop waiting for the item only to find out after a week the item is not available.
