Product Details

The Mikuni 4/042-80 is a precision-engineered main jet designed for optimal fuel metering in Mikuni carburetors. This large hex-type jet features the traditional hexagonal head design that allows for easy installation and removal using standard tools.

Key Features:

  • Large hex head design for easy installation and adjustment
  • Precision-drilled orifice ensures accurate fuel delivery
  • Compatible with most Mikuni carburetor models
  • Mikuni part number 4/042 series - size 80
  • Manufactured to OEM specifications for reliable performance

Main jets are critical components that control the fuel flow at wide-open throttle and high RPM conditions. The numerical designation (80) indicates the jet's orifice size, which determines fuel flow rate. Replacing or tuning with the correct jet size is essential for proper air-fuel mixture, optimal performance, and engine efficiency across various operating conditions and altitudes.

So far so good

Was quick and easy

easy ordering

The shopping part was easy, but it would be nice if you would advise what other parts may be necessary to install this kickdown cable. A bracket for a certain carb. maybe? Will this all hook up with what I have? Hopefully I won't have to order another part to get it all hooked up.
