Product Details

The Mikuni 4/042-500 is a precision main jet designed for tuning fuel delivery in Mikuni carburetors. This large hex-style jet features the distinctive 4/042 design used across most Mikuni carburetor applications, making it a versatile replacement or tuning component for motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and other powersports vehicles.

Key Features:

  • Large hex design for easy installation and removal with standard tools
  • Precision-drilled orifice for accurate fuel metering
  • Compatible with most Mikuni carburetor models including VM, TM, and BSR series
  • Manufactured to OEM specifications for reliable performance
  • Essential component for carburetor tuning and altitude adjustments

Main jets control the fuel flow at wide-open throttle and high RPM operation. Selecting the correct jet size is critical for optimal engine performance, fuel economy, and preventing lean or rich running conditions. The 500 designation indicates the jet's orifice size for precise fuel delivery calibration.
