Product Details

The Gates 19560 is a factory-molded, small inside diameter (I.D.) coolant hose engineered to OEM specifications for today's smaller, tighter-fitting engine compartments. Designed as a direct-fit replacement, this hose is suitable for coolant, water, and air applications, and is also approved for marine use.

Gates engineered this hose specifically to combat Electrochemical Degradation (ECD) — the leading cause of premature hose failure. ECD occurs when the hose, liquid coolant, and engine or radiator fittings form a galvanic cell, creating micro-cracks in the hose tube that allow coolant to seep in and break down the reinforcement layer. Gates' EPDM construction resists this process for long-lasting reliability.

Important Notes: Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed. This hose is not approved for fuel or oil transfer applications.
