Global Parts Distributors, LLC — better known as gpd — has roots that run deep in the automotive air conditioning world. The company began as a five-bay automotive A/C installation and repair shop in Macon, GA in 1974. That hands-on, shop-floor origin gave gpd something most parts brands never develop: a genuine technician's perspective on what makes a replacement part trustworthy enough to stake a repair on.

In the early 2000s, gpd evolved into a national distributor of aftermarket automotive and heavy-duty A/C parts.
