The RAM Clutches 403 is a 10.5-inch Borg & Beck style competition pressure plate designed for GM, Chrysler, and AMC applications. This high-performance pressure plate delivers 2800 lbs of static clamp load, making it ideal for heavy muscle cars and high-RPM street/strip applications.

Key Features:

  • Ductile iron explosion-resistant pressure ring for safety at high RPM
  • Heavy duty levers and hardware with chrome vanadium springs
  • 11-5/8 inch bolt circle with 3/8 inch mounting holes
  • Meets SFI 1.1 specifications for competition use
  • Precision balanced to within 1/2 ounce/inch
  • New covers and all-new heavy duty hardware

RAM's Borg & Beck clutches are best suited for applications where high RPM is a consideration, or for Chrysler and AMC applications where fitting a Long Style clutch may be a problem. Note that this clutch will increase pedal effort to achieve extra holding power and may require strengthening of clutch linkage components for proper operation.

This is not a converted or modified factory stock pressure plate—it's engineered specifically for performance applications. Proudly manufactured in the USA by RAM Clutches since 1971.
