The RAM Clutches 418 is a 10.95-inch Borg & Beck style competition pressure plate designed for GM, Chrysler, and AMC applications, delivering 2800 lbs. clamp load with an explosion-resistant pressure ring. Borg & Beck clutches are best suited for heavy muscle cars and are exact duplicates of the original Mopar and AMC pressure plates, with the 10.95-inch version using a larger 11-inch pressure ring for more surface area and heat dissipation while bolting up to a 10.5-inch clutch pattern for smaller bellhousings.

  • Features 3/8" mounting holes with 11-5/8" bolt circle
  • Meets SFI 1.1 specifications for racing safety
  • Assembled using explosion-resistant pressure rings, heavy-duty levers and hardware, chrome vanadium springs, and new covers
  • Ideal for applications where high RPM is a consideration, or for Chrysler and AMC applications where fitting a Long Style clutch may be a problem

This competition pressure plate will increase pedal effort to achieve extra holding power and may require strengthening of your clutch linkage components for proper operation. Installation requires Bolt Set p/n 490 or Stud Set p/n 492 (sold separately). RAM performance pressure plates are engineered and built to meet the demands of high horsepower street and competition cars and trucks, and are not converted or modified factory stock pressure plates.
