RAM Clutches Borg & Beck Competition Pressure Plate

The RAM Clutches Borg & Beck Competition Pressure Plate is a performance clutch pressure plate (clutch cover) for high-RPM and heavy-duty use. It is made in the USA and belongs to RAM's Competition Pressure Plate line. Borg & Beck-style plates suit heavy muscle cars. They are also a good choice for Chrysler and AMC applications where a Long Style clutch may be hard to fit.

This style of clutch raises pedal effort to deliver extra holding power. Your clutch linkage components may need strengthening for proper operation. Roller or centrifugal-assist versions are available from RAM for non-shifting applications, such as clutchless transmissions, or where shifting is done below 6000 RPM. For full competition vehicles, RAM recommends its Long Style pressure plates.
