Standard Motor Products TS500 Coolant Fan Switch

The Standard Motor Products TS500 is a direct-fit replacement coolant fan switch (also known as a radiator fan switch or engine cooling fan temperature switch) engineered to restore proper electric cooling fan operation. This switch monitors coolant temperature and sends the signal that activates or deactivates the electric radiator fan, helping maintain safe engine operating temperatures.

Key Features:

• Manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications for proper fit, form, and function
• Custom wax pellet formulation expands when heated to activate a snap-action electrical contact, delivering a precise and reliable temperature signal
• Bimetallic contact arm design utilizes the different thermal expansion rates of two fused metals for accurate and repeatable switch actuation
• All units are calibrated and tested to confirm switch actuation at their specified temperature rating
• High-grade materials and robust construction meet the demands of professional technicians and DIY installers alike
• Sold individually as a direct OEM replacement

Standard Motor Products is a trusted name in OE-quality engine management and electrical components. The TS500 coolant fan switch installs in place of the original unit with no modification required, helping to prevent overheating and keeping your cooling system operating as the manufacturer intended.
