Quality-Built QB Premium Remanufactured Starter

The Quality-Built QB Premium remanufactured starter (also called a starter motor) is a direct-fit, OE-replacement part. It is built to restore reliable engine cranking. Quality-Built is a division of Motorcar Parts of America, and it supplies professional-quality starters and alternators to the aftermarket.

Key Features:

• Complete remanufacturing: Every wear-prone component is replaced with a new part, whatever condition the old part was in. A typical rebuilt unit is taken apart and reassembled, often reusing worn parts.
• Precision-machined armatures and commutators: They are electronically tested for consistent starting performance.
• New bronze-sintered bushings: They give strong wear resistance.
• Remanufactured drive clutches: The clutches are fully dismantled, rebuilt and sealed with aerospace-quality grease.
• Quality processes: Units are made to QS-9000 requirements in ISO/TS 16949 certified facilities. The process includes durability testing, root cause analysis and lean manufacturing.
• Meets or exceeds OE specifications: Each unit is tested for durability.
• Support: A toll-free technical support line is staffed by ASE-certified technicians. The complimentary Quality-Built Roadside Assistance Program (QB-RAP) includes a jump-start or tow for one year from the date of purchase.

Quality-Built starters give you professional-installer quality at a DIY price. The QB Premium line is the remanufactured option. The brand-new QB Supreme line is sold separately.
